Lying some twelve kilometres south of Valletta picturesque Marsascala offers a change of pace from the busy north coast resorts of Malta. The peaceful fishing village is still relatively unspoiled and has a quiet and relaxing, friendly atmosphere. It boasts excellent fish restaurants, rock bathing in clear water, a colourful harbour and access to many important archaeological sites around the area.
